Mass Casualty Drill Tonight at Epworth Elementary

A mass casualty drill will be taking place at Epworth Elementary this evening.

Dubuque County Emergency Management will be conducting the drill today at approximately 5 pm, along with members of the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, Dubuque Police and several surrounding police and fire departments participating as well.

The drill is expected to take a couple hours.

Sheriff Joe Kennedy says as always, these scenarios are used to test the capabilities of local first responder units and hospital staff, but also to enhance their knowledge in preparation for any future event that may occur.
