The Clayton County Fair kicked off Wednesday in National.
This year, they’re celebrating 170 years – one of the oldest fairs in the state. Taylor Boeckenstedt says they are rooted on agriculture, with a big focus on 4-H and FFA. They also have free carnival rides and some big concert acts too, with Whey Jennings opening for BlackHawk tonight.
Not Quite Brothers perform on Friday night, with opening act Eli Alger and the Faster Horses. On Saturday, it’s the Demo Derby, Motocross and Bull Bash, with the Tractor Pull on Sunday.
This week’s Clayton County Fair runs through Monday. You can find more information on their Facebook page or their website at claytoncountyfair.com.
