The Motorcycle Trials are back this weekend in Manchester.
Over the past eight years, this event has brought cyclists to town for a course on the Whitewater Park. Chris Halverson explains:
The weekend starts Saturday at 11 am at the Manchester Whitewater Park with the Motorcycle Trials, followed by the Trials Bicycle Competition at 3 pm. On Sunday, they’ll move the Motorcycle Trials to Manchester’s Schram Park, with the action getting underway at 10 am. And Halverson says Schram Park is a completely different challenge compared to the Whitewater Park.
Halverson says their goal when they started this nearly a decade ago was to attract riders from all over the country – and their hopes have come true.
And you can get a sneak peek tonight on Lake Delhi.
The Manchester Motorcycle Trials are free for the public to watch. Plus – there’s even an event that the public can participate in. It’s the Inner Tube Race, which will take place at 5:30 pm on Saturday at the Whitewater Park.
