ECIA Seeking Community Input on Transportation Safety Plan

The ECIA will be attending the Manchester Farmers’ Market on Saturday morning to get some input from the community.
Senior Planner Dan Fox says they’re looking for feedback about transportation safety in Manchester and other communities in Delaware County.
Fox says transportation safety is an important issue because every year there are deaths and injuries on area roads.
The ECIA’s transportation safety plan will focus on 58 cities within Delaware, Dubuque, Jackson and Clinton counties, which Fox says includes Manchester and just about every city within that area. They’ll be gathering input at Saturday’s Farmers’ Market in a few different ways.
They’ll have two survey forms.
Fox says the ECIA hopes to complete their transportation safety plan by next spring.
The Manchester Farmers’ Market runs Saturday morning from 7:30 to 11 am on River Street behind Bushel and a Peck. If you’re not able to attend the Manchester Farmers’ Market on Saturday, but would still like to participate in the transportation safety survey, you can go online to eciatrans.org.
