The Hero Hustle is this Sunday in Manchester – and today is the deadline to sign up.
Committee member Loretta Welcher says this is the ninth year for the Hero Hustle, with all proceeds going to our local heroes with Delaware County fire, EMS and law enforcement.
The Hero Hustle is a Sprint Triathlon/Duathlon. Athletes can register as a team or individual for the triathlon or an individual for the duathlon.
The race starts at 9 am Sunday at Schram Park and Welcher says people are welcome to volunteer.
To sign up, go to runsignup.com/Race/IA/Manchester/HeroHustleSprintTriathlon. Athletes also can go to the Hero Hustle Sprint Triathlon Facebook page or reach out to Manchester City Hall for help getting registered.
Everyone is encouraged to watch along the route.
