Starmont Delays Start of School Until Monday

Starmont is cancelling the first day of school on Friday due to staff illness.

The district says ten staff members were out Thursday due to a flu-like illness.

Superintendent Rob Busch says it’s impacted about twenty percent of their secondary staff. He says they don’t have that many subs and notes that’s not the way to start the first day.

The start of classes at Starmont will be delayed until Monday.
