West Delaware Implementing New Cell Phone, Backpack Policies

School begins Friday for most districts across the state.

West Delaware High School Principal Tim Felderman says their first day of class will bring several activities for the students.

There will be some new faces at West Delaware High School this year. Felderman says they’ve experienced a few more retirements than usual these past few years, but those roles are being filled with a great group of new staff.

Felderman says West Delaware will have a couple of new policies going into effect this school year – one of which cuts back on student cell phone use.

Another new policy includes restrictions on backpacks in the classroom.

If you have any questions about the new policies, feel free to reach out to the school.

Friday is a full day of school for West Delaware. The last day of school is scheduled for May 29th.
