Camp Courageous Manchester Garage Sale Volunteer Honored with Award

A friendly face you’ve likely seen over the years at the Camp Courageous Manchester Garage Sale has received a special honor from the camp.

Camp Courageous presented the Tall Pine Award to Madeline Borrett (bah-RETT) for her exceptional dedication to the Manchester Garage Sale during last weekend’s Pineapple Gala in Cedar Rapids.

For more than twenty-five years, Borrett has been a key volunteer, known for her contributions to the Christmas sale and the Christmas in July event.

The Camp Courageous Tall Pine Award plaque reads: “In sincere appreciation of exceptional dedication in making possible the dream of coming to Camp Courageous a reality for thousands of campers with disabilities.”
