The Delaware County Relay for Life is trying something new.
The Relay took place earlier this summer – but due to a storm that moved through, there was one part of the event that they weren’t able to hold – and that was the auction.
So, they’re now holding an online auction to give the public a chance to bid on those items. Committee co-chair Sue McCormac says they have three items up for bidding.
The third item is a limited edition framed oil painting called “Sunset Kiss” – only one of eleven being released.
Fellow committee co-chair Jill Goos says you can bid online at 32auctions.com/DelawareCountyRelay or you can find the link on the Delaware County Relay for Life Facebook page.
The bidding started last week and will close at 7 pm Wednesday night. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the American Cancer Society and the fight against cancer.
