Lambert Elementary Introduces New Mascot

Lambert Elementary in Manchester has a new mascot.

Lil’ Hank is the youthful version of the high school mascot, Hank.

An assembly was held at the school on Wednesday morning to introduce Lil’ Hank to the elementary students. He can be seen on the wall as you enter Lambert and will be part of many events throughout the year.

Lambert Principal Rudi Hameister says Lil’ Hank was an idea that evolved from their work to design their new wall coverings in their main hallway. Hameister says he has been referring to Lambert as the place where the Hawks are born for several years now – and Lil’ Hank was born out of that idea.

As part of having their new mascot, Lambert is partnering with Momentum Screen Printing to offer clothing and specialty items for students and their families. You can find the link for ordering the shirts at momentumscreen.com/lambert_es – it’ll be open through Sunday, September 1st.
