Loecke Crowned 2024 Delaware County Pork Queen
Penner & Recker Named Pork Princesses

A Manchester teen has been crowned the 2024 Delaware County Pork Queen.
Trudy Loecke won the title at the Delaware County Pork Producers’ Pork Barbeque in Manchester on Thursday night. Loecke, the daughter of Mike and Megan Loecke, has helped with her family’s pork production since she was young and showed hogs at the Delaware County Fair.
Loecke takes over the reign for 2023 Delaware County Pork Queen Kyria Loecke of Manchester.
The Pork Producers also crowned Brenna Penner of Dyersville and Keely Recker of Hopkinton as their 2024 Delaware County Pork Princesses.
Penner has shown in the Delaware County Fair’s swine show since she was in 4th grade. She’s had a busy year of promoting pork as the 2023 Pork Princess, including a day of volunteering on the state level at the Iowa State Fair’s pork tent, and says she’s looking forward to continuing that role.
Recker is excited for the royalty’s visits to local schools and helping teach kids about the pork industry. She says she’s grateful for the opportunity to serve as Pork Princess.
The Delaware County Pork Producers also recognized Lindsay Manternach with this year’s Belle Ringer Award for her years of dedication in promoting the local pork industry.
