A Delhi man has been charged with prostitution.
According to an arrest log released by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, 48-year old Allan Michael Domeyer was arrested on August 23rd in Greeley.
The complaint and affidavit filed in Delaware County District Court says Domeyer allegedly purchased or offered to purchase the services of a person under 18 years old as a partner in a sex act.
The complaint and affidavit states that on July 5th, a 17-year old girl reported that she was receiving soliciting messages that were sexual in nature. She believed the messages were from Domeyer. Deputies investigated and were able to identify Domeyer as the culprit, who was allegedly using a 3rd party phone app to communicate with the teen. Domeyer is accused of requesting a sex act in exchange for $500 on various occasions.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says Domeyer was placed in custody with the same phone used to communicate with the teenager. He admitted to communicating with her, telling authorities he was “messing around”.
Domeyer was transferred to the Delaware County Jail and held for court.
