ISU Extension and Outreach Delaware County is hosting an After School STEAM Club this school year for K-4th grade students at Lambert Elementary in Manchester.
Thirty students will participate in the weekly two -hour program. Each week, a new educational lesson will be presented relating to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM).
The first week of STEAM Club was spent learning about the Engineering Design Process and completing tower building challenges. In the second week, students learned about teamwork, communication and sportsmanship – and then participated in small group activities to practice those skills.
