New Vienna Tractor Pull to Benefit Bries Family

The New Vienna community is coming together this Sunday for their annual benefit tractor pull.
The event centers around tractors and all the action that comes with it – but the focus each year is on helping someone from the area who is going through a difficult time. And that’s what makes this tractor pull stand out.
That’s Kayla Cooney, a family member of this year’s beneficiary. Jayme “Dry” Bries of Dyersville was diagnosed with melanoma in 2015. He passed away on Sunday at the age of 51. This year’s tractor pull will benefit Jayme’s family, which includes his wife, Dawn, and two boys, Landon and Cohen.
The New Vienna Benefit Tractor Pull will include a pedal tractor pull, food, bake sale and 50-50 raffle, as well as a live and silent auction.
Sunday’s tractor pull starts at 10:30 am at the ball diamond just off Highway 136 in New Vienna.
