Edgewood Community Donates Flowers to Surprise Senior Residents

Flowers brought happiness to some of Edgewood’s most beloved residents this week.

Each tenant and resident at the Edgewood Convalescent Home and Lincolnwood Assisted Living received a beautiful floral arrangement from Blooms in Edgewood – all thanks to the generosity of 75 donors from Edgewood and the surrounding communities. 

Taylor Bockenstedt, Regional Director of Community Relations/Marketing, says for many of their residents, the flowers serve as a reminder that they are cherished and remembered by the community.

She says the surprise delivery sparked smiles, happy tears, and heartfelt conversations, “reminding us all of the deep connections that exist between our residents and their friends and neighbors outside our walls”.
