Monticello is hosting their Monti in Motion car show on Sunday.
Doug Herman, who was part of the group that started the show twelve years ago, says the show will run 8 am to 2 pm on East First Street.
Monticello’s show is one of several car shows held in the area every year. Herman says there’s something about the nostalgia those older vehicles bring.
Registration for Monti in Motion starts at 7 am Sunday in downtown Monticello’s Pocket Park. There is no registration fee, though donations will be accepted, with proceeds going to Monticello Main Street, who is hosting the event this year.
