A Peosta man was injured in a crash in Dubuque County early Tuesday morning.
Dubuque County Sheriff’s deputies, along with Peosta Police and the Epworth Fire Department, responded to Highway 20 at the overpass of Bobcat Road on the west side of Epworth for a one-vehicle accident.
The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says 54-year old Gregory Mulert was westbound on Highway 20 when his vehicle left the road and struck the overpass’ support column, causing his vehicle to overturn.
Mulert suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
