Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Manchester on Saturday

Families and supporters will be walking to end Alzheimer’s in Manchester this weekend.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on Saturday morning at the Edward Jones office of Angie Rave. And Wanda Hillers says the support and sign-up so far has been wonderful.

Saturday’s walk will feature a promise garden filled with different colored pinwheel “flowers” representing your connection to Alzheimer’s.

Hillers says you’ll be able to grab your pinwheel “flower” after you sign up and take it with you on the walk.

Cheri Orcutt says registration will begin at 8:15 am and it’s free to sign up.

The ceremony will start around 8:40 am, with the walk beginning at 9 am.

If you’re not able to attend the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, but would like to donate to the cause, you can call committee member Vicki Ries at 920-3381.
