The Hopkinton Public Library is preparing to get you into the Halloween spirit.
The library dubs next month “Haunted October”, hosting several spooky events that will wrap up with the return of “The Haunting” at the old Lenox College campus. Library Director Kim Albright:
“Haunted October” will kick off on October 5th with creepy crawlies from the ISU Insect Zoo.
And once again this year, the Hopkinton Public Library will be partnering with the Delaware County Historical Society for “The Haunting”. Last year was the first year for the event, which encouraged brave visitors to hear haunted tales while taking a nightly stroll through the historic buildings of the old Lenox College campus.
“The Haunting” will take place Saturday night, October 26th starting at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online through the library’s Facebook page or hopkinton.lib.ia.us.
