Clover Kids Kick Off on Saturday

ISU Extension and Outreach Delaware County is hosting the Clover Kids Kick Off on Saturday.
Clover Kids is a fun 4-H program specifically designed for children in kindergarten through third grade. The focus is on hands-on cooperative learning in small groups. Clover Kids participate in activities, games, and other positive experiences in a supportive, creative, challenging, and fun environment. They also have the opportunity to participate at the Delaware County Fair. Clover Kids is a way for younger children to jump start their 4-H experience.
Children in kindergarten through third grade and their families are invited to attend Saturday’s Kick Off to learn more about the 4-H Clover Kids program in Delaware County. Saturday’s Kick Off will run from 10 to 11 am at Tirrill Park in Manchester.
County Youth Coordinator, Kenzie Zumbach, will welcome families and share information about Clover Kids, including the seven clubs they can join. The kids will also get to participate in a variety of activities on Saturday – just a sneak peek into some of the fun they could have if they joined Clover Kids.
Over the past few years, there has been tremendous growth in the Clover Kids program in Delaware County, with more than one hundred kids enrolled.
If you’re not able to attend the Clover Kids Kick Off, but are interested in learning more about the program, reach out to the Delaware County Extension Office at 927-4201.
