Mixteca Celebrates Grand Opening at New Manchester Location

Manchester’s newest Mexican restaurant held its grand opening celebration on Saturday.

Mixteca Grill & Agave House opened this spring in the former Fireside Pub & Steakhouse building just south of Walmart off Highway 13. Owner Laura Villagrana is originally from Mexico and has been a business owner ever since she came to the United States a little over thirty years ago. 

Villagrana previously owned Rio Blanco Mexican restaurant in downtown Manchester before closing it just prior to the pandemic in February 2020 and opening a location in Dyersville. 

She says you can expect the same great Mexican food in a relaxed atmosphere.

And the Manchester community was excited to welcome her back. Villagrana says she has felt the love since returning.

Mixteca celebrated their new Manchester restaurant with a visit from the Manchester Chamber Ambassadors last Friday and a grand opening last Saturday.
