Dale L. Sandhagen Jr., 58, was tragically killed Saturday, August 31, 2024.
He was born November 2, 1965 in Manchester, IA, the son of Dale and Judith (Downs) Sandhagen. Dale was raised in Manchester and graduated from West Delaware High School in 1984. Dale moved to Florida and became a member of the Shrine Circus, performing in the “Globe of Death” and sometimes as a clown. In 2008, he met the love of his life, Ken. They lived happily together in Florida until a hurricane destroyed their home and belongings. They moved to Humboldt, TN in 2023. They shared a love for dogs and have loved and lost many.
Survivors of Dale include his life partner, Ken Morris, and their babies (Boston Terriers), his sister, Debrea (Sandhagen) Schmidt, nephews Travis (Tiffany) Schmidt, Zach (KeriAnne) Schmidt, Dusty (Renee) Schmidt and a niece Nicci (Aaron) Supple.
A celebration of life will be held October 12, 2024 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Hartridge Golf Course in Manchester, IA.
