The Friends of Backbone State Park are hosting their annual Trail Run/Walk this Saturday.
The run starts at 9 am at the Backbone Beach Lodge. Friends member Roger Helmrichs says they’ll once again have two trails to choose from – both the same as last year.
Registration for Saturday’s run/walk is $25, with proceeds going to the Friends of Backbone State Park.
Thompson Shoes of Manchester is donating a pair of running shoes, with the winner to be drawn right before the run starts. In-person registration for the Trail Run/Walk opens at 8 am on Saturday at the lodge – or you can sign up ahead of time online at backbonetrailrun.weebly.com.
