With the general election just three weeks away, absentee voting is now underway.
Absentee voting – both by mail and in-person – started Wednesday.
Delaware County Auditor Carla Becker says if you’d still like to receive a ballot by mail, those applications are due to their office by 5 pm Monday.
Absentee voting in-person in the Delaware County Auditor’s Office will be available weekdays during normal office hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm through the day before the election, which is Monday, November 4th. The Auditor’s Office will also be open next Saturday, October 26th from 8 am to noon and Saturday, November 2nd from 9 am to 5 pm.
The general election is Tuesday, November 5th, with polls open in Delaware County from 7 am to 8 pm.
Delaware County residents can find a sample of what their ballot will look like on the county’s website.
