Manchester’s Smaller East Main Project Delayed Until Spring

The City of Manchester had planned to fit in a smaller street project yet this fall, but they’ve now decided to push that back until spring.

City Manager Tim Vick says the project would have been a mill-and-overlay from the three-way stop at Bailey Drive to Tama Street near the courthouse.

The City plans to mill off two inches of that section of East Main Street and put two inches back down. They expect to be able to do the project next spring without closing the road and just alternating one-lane traffic.
