Manchester Childcare Making Some Changes Due to Staffing Issues

Childcare has seen some changes in Manchester recently – and it’s due to an issue that’s being seen across the state right now.

Rudi Hameister is the board president of Community Childcare of Manchester. He says they’re facing challenges with staffing.

Vicki Ries, Director of Community Childcare of Manchester, talks about some of the changes they’ve had to make.

Hameister says the issues “kind of go back to COVID, too”.

Community Childcare of Manchester is working on getting that message out to the community. They hosted a community meeting with various organizations and entities just last week.

Hameister says Community Childcare of Manchester will continue the conversations and work of developing task forces and finding solutions to the staffing issue.
