Candidate Preview – Ashley Hinson for Congress

The General Election is just under a week away – next Tuesday, November 5th – and KMCH is continuing to spotlight some of the candidates running on this year’s ballot.

Republican Congresswoman Ashley Hinson is running for re-election in Iowa’s Second District.

Hinson says she’s excited that she’s had a few bills that have become law.

Hinson talks about some of her other priorities if she’s elected to another term in Congress.

Hinson makes several tours around the Second District every year, meeting with constituents and gathering feedback. And leading up to the election, she’s been door-knocking and trying to get the message out about her campaign.

You can find more information about Ashley Hinson’s campaign online at ashleyhinson.com.

Hinson faces two challengers for her Congressional seat in the General Election – Democrat Sarah Corkery and Independent Jody Madlom Puffett. We’ll hear from each of them in our KMCH newscasts later this week.
