Operation Santa Claus Accepting Applications & Donations

Operation Santa Claus is hoping to make Christmas special for Delaware County families who need a little extra help this holiday season.

This local program started more than forty years ago during the Farm Crisis – and it’s had a big impact ever since. Kathy Swift serves as Co-Chair of Operation Santa Claus with Jane Murphy.

The community has always shown their support for Operation Santa Claus. Whether it’s through donations, providing grants or through their 5K fundraiser held in the summer, Swift says they appreciate it all.

Tammy Eibey, who serves on Operation Santa Claus’ Board of Directors, says trees are now up with the gift tags at several locations.

And Eibey says the families on the receiving end of these gifts from Operation Santa Claus are so appreciative.

If you or someone you know could use a little extra help this holiday season, you can reach out to the HACAP office on South 5th Street in Manchester by this Friday.
