Delaware County Food Bank Helping Record Number of Residents
Friday's Fundraiser Raises Over $1,200

KMCH’s Delaware County Food Bank fundraiser on Friday was a big success – thanks to your help.
The Food Bank is the local food pantry in Manchester – and it just wrapped up one of their busiest months ever.
That’s Food Bank Coordinator Doug Robbins. He says eligibility for the Food Bank is based on guidelines set by the USDA.
Residents who are approved to use the Delaware County Food Bank can come twice a month to pick up food.
The public is more than welcome to donate food items, but Robbins says monetary donations go much farther.
Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Delaware County Food Bank, which is located in downtown Manchester on South Franklin Street between Riverbend and Carr & Carr by using the back door in the alley – they’re open Mondays and Thursdays from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. You can also mail your donation to the Delaware County Food Bank at PO Box 467 Manchester or feel free to drop off your monetary donations at F&M Bank.
KMCH partnered with Manchester Fareway to host our annual Delaware County Food Bank fundraiser on Friday. With your help, we were able to donate just over $1,200 and more than a dozen bags of food to the local food pantry to help our friends and neighbors in Delaware County who need a little extra support right now.
