Great Jones County Fair Gearing Up for 2025 Concerts

The Great Jones County Fair in Monticello is gearing up for the next summer after not one – but TWO – concert announcements.

On Monday morning, the fair announced that three 90’s country stars – Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin and Collin Raye – will perform on Sunday, July 20th. The three artists will be with one band as part of their “Roots and Boots” Tour, taking the stage at 7 pm following the Double S Bull Company’s Extreme Bull Riding event.

That’s Great Jones County Fair Office Manager Abby Jaeger, who says they’ve already gotten great feedback on the announcement. She notes it is a change from their typical Sunday night line-up, which traditionally featured Christian artists.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 10 am. The cost is $21 for the track (standing room only) or $21 for the amphitheater/bleachers.

The Great Jones County Fair made their first concert announcement for 2025 a couple weeks ago when they announced country star Hardy will perform on Saturday, July 19th at 8 pm, with special guest John Morgan. Hardy is one of several artists on the country music scene who have quickly risen to stardom in these past few years.

Tickets for Hardy are available now at greatjonescountyfair.com. The cost is $90 for the track (standing room only) or $90 for amphitheater/bleacher seating.

Jaeger says they’ve got a couple other concert announcements still coming while they continue to plan for the 2025 Great Jones County Fair.

The Great Jones County Fair, known as “The Five Best Days of Summer”, will run July 16th through the 20th in Monticello.
