Senator Grassley Comments on Trump’s Appointments

President-Elect Donald Trump has wasted no time making plans for his incoming administration.
Since winning the election two weeks ago, Trump has made numerous appointments and picks for cabinet and White House staff – including nominees Matt Gaetz as Attorney General and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.
KMCH News Director Janelle Tucker was one of two reporters invited to briefly speak with U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley during his weekly Capitol Hill Report on Monday. When asked if he had any strong opinions about any of the picks so far, Grassley says he believes Trump “has made some good appointments”.
On Senator Grassley’s Facebook page last week, his office was inviting Iowans to submit a request to attend the presidential inauguration. The deadline for those requests for tickets was last Friday, but Grassley says the number of people from the Hawkeye state interested in attending presidential inaugurations – regardless of who is being sworn in – has always been high.
Trump’s inauguration will take place on January 20th in Washington, D.C.
