West Delaware Students Help Manchester Residents with Yard Work

West Delaware student council members spent last week helping out around Manchester.

Student Council President Abby Kass says they partnered with the City to spread kindness to residents who needed a little help.

The students helped the residents with outdoor chores, including raking leaves. Kass says they received a lot of great feedback, with everyone very grateful for the help.

Residents could sign up with Manchester City Hall through last week to get on the list for assistance. Kass says they were able to help seven households with yard work – and West Delaware hopes to increase that number next year if they have enough student council volunteers.
