Renovations Begin for Wickiup Hill Learning Center Exhibits

Renovations aimed at restoring some exhibits at the Wickiup Hill Learning Center in Linn County to their original condition start today.

The project will breathe new life into the displays, ensuring that they accurately reflect the region’s unique ecosystems, biodiversity, and cultural history.

Wickiup Hill Learning Center Manager Kent Rector says by updating the interactive elements and educational materials, Linn County Conservation’s nature center aims to create a more engaging and informative environment for guests of all ages.

To facilitate these improvements, all Wickup Hill Learning Center indoor exhibit and display areas will be closed through December 10th. There will be limited access to the building, with outdoor areas open from sunrise to sunset.
