The Holiday Comes to Manchester with the 37th Window Walk

Main Street Manchester was all aglow last night with the 37th Annual Window Walk and Static Parade. Despite the cold temperatures, turnout was high for the event, a celebration of holiday and community. Led by the Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce, businesses were encouraged to decorate their windows and offer treats and deals for those coming out. Repeats Consignment owner Kayla Kamiller says she was glad to take part as it’s a fond memory from her own childhood.

The night also served as an opportunity for the community to visit Repeat’s new location.

For Leanne Fangman of the Quiltmakers Shoppe, holiday sales peaked a few months ago.

The Static Parade was deemed another success as Main Street was filled with decorated boats and cars, inflatables, fireplaces and many smiling faces. Among them, Jessie Tibbott from Good Neighbor Society.

Regional Medical Center’s Angie Salow reiterated the same sentiment.

Among those “little kids”, Judson Klaus.

His brother Luka had a different wish.

Among the new parts this year was the first ever Chili Cookoff by the City of Manchester. Jesse Peters took First Place, Leslie Zellner 2nd and Ron Ingles 3rd. City officials thanked everyone who made the cook off a success.
