RMC Newborns Gifted with ‘My First Christmas’ Stockings

Once again this holiday season, Regional Medical Center in Manchester is gifting their tiniest patients with Christmas stockings.

Each newborn baby is given a “My First Christmas” stocking from the RMC Auxiliary, as well as a knitted hat made with love by a RMC volunteer. Winthrop residents Nick and Alyson Franck welcomed a baby boy, Karter Allen, on December 9th – and their son was among those to receive the special stocking and knitted hat.

Every year, the RMC Auxiliary donates these festive stockings to the OB department. And throughout the year, the OB department receives knitted or crocheted baby hats made by RMC volunteers to give to the hospital’s newborns.

“The support we receive from the RMC Auxiliary and volunteers is deeply appreciated,” says Obstetrics & Family Health Manager Angie Strum. “We are honored to provide families with such thoughtful gifts as they welcome a new addition during the holiday season.”
