Update: Tow Ban Lifted for Linn County

The tow ban that was in effect earlier this afternoon for Linn County has now been lifted.

Snow impacted the southeast corner of Iowa today, with up to four inches of snowfall leading to slick roads and low visibility. Most of the snow stayed south of Highway 20, with the heaviest snow along I-80.

The National Weather Service says the snow is tapering off as it moves east out of Iowa, though drivers should still use caution for the evening commute.
