New Youth Center Opening in Manchester

A new youth center is opening in the Manchester community.

Radiant Church will be hosting youth every Wednesday afternoon, starting this week. The church first opened about two and a half years ago on West Marion Street just south of the Manchester Walmart.

That’s Campus Pastor Michael Netherton, who says they’re excited to now offer a place for students to go after school on Wednesdays.

Netherton says they decided to start a youth center after realizing there is no other organized youth center in the area.

Isaac Vazquez, who is new to Manchester, is serving as the new Youth Director at Radiant Church.

Vazquez says the youth center will offer several activities for students – allowing them to just hang out, do homework, enjoy snacks and play games.

The Radiant Youth Center will be open year-round on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 4 pm.

This Wednesday, January 8th will be the first day for the youth center at Radiant Church. It is free for all youth in the Delaware County area who are in 6th through 12th grade. Please note – transportation will not be provided to and from school. And there is no need to RSVP – just show up! If you have any questions, you can reach out to Michael Netherton at michael@radiantchurch.live.
