Delaware County Sleep in Heavenly Peace will hold their next Bed Build this weekend.
The local chapter, led by Hopkinton resident Keith Kramer, will be building beds for children in the Delaware County area who don’t currently have one. Their mission is that no child sleeps on the floor in the community. They have built and delivered more than four hundred beds since their mission started in 2021, with new mattresses and bedding also provided for each child.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace’s next bed build will be held this Saturday in Ryan at Scott Cole’s heated shop on Main Street. They’ll start around 8:15 am, with hopes to wrap up by 11 am.
They are planning to build forty beds and could use a lot of volunteers. Anyone of any age who would like to help is welcome. No experience necessary – and tools and supplies will be provided.
If you have any questions about volunteering for Saturday’s Bed Build or receiving a bed for your child, call or text Keith Kramer at (563) 920-6256.
