Extreme Cold Temps on the Way Out for Eastern Iowa

The last few days have been Iowa’s coldest of the winter so far, with sub-zero temperatures and very bitter wind chills.

An Extreme Cold Warning was in effect through this morning, with a Cold Weather Advisory in effect through tonight. But National Weather Service meteorologist Rod Donavon says there is some relief on the way, with warmer temperatures as earlier as tomorrow.

There’s a chance for light snow overnight into Wednesday too.

The forecast calls for temperatures in the 20s tomorrow, with 30s possible by Saturday.
