Hall Appointed to Jones County Board of Supervisors

A Jones County resident has been appointed to the Jones County Board of Supervisors.

Darrick Hall was appointed Wednesday morning to fill a vacancy on the board. The District 4 seat was left vacant by Supervisor Ned Rohwedder, who retired from the Board in early January after serving the county for fourteen years.

The Board of Supervisor vacancy committee accepted applications and held public candidate interviews for the Board of Supervisors District 4 vacancy. The committee says they were very fortunate to have six interested candidates who all presented themselves in a very professional manner and had many qualifications for the position. The committee notes that many factors were considered when making their decision, including application materials, interview responses and public comment.

Hall will fill the Jones County Board of Supervisors District 4 seat for the remainder of Rohwedder’s term, which expires January 1, 2027.
