Winter Storm Watch Issued for Eastern Iowa Wednesday

Heavy snow could impact eastern Iowa this week.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Delaware, Dubuque, Jones and Linn counties from Wednesday morning through late Wednesday night.
Forecasters say total snow accumulations between 6 to 8 inches is possible.
Travel could become very difficult, with the hazardous conditions possibly impacting the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. North winds at 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts up to 25 miles per hour, may cause some blowing and drifting snow, especially on east-west roads.
