A RMC Auxiliary volunteer has been honored with an award.
Linda Mensen was awarded the Bright Star Award during the Auxiliary’s spring luncheon last week.
The Bright Star Award is presented each year to an Auxiliary member who shows outstanding generosity, volunteerism and kindness of spirit. Mensen has been an active Auxiliary member and volunteer since 2013 after retiring from teaching at West Delaware. Throughout the years, she has volunteered many hours in the RMC HILLTOP Gift Shop, with fundraisers and on various committees, including the Executive Committee. Mensen played an integral role in the Auxiliary’s 50th Anniversary celebration in 2023, tapping into her education background. She helped educate our community and members on the history of the Auxiliary and showcased how important the Auxiliary is to RMC and the communities they serve.
RMC Auxiliary President Charlotte Emerson says they are grateful for Linda’s positive spirit and dedication that she has brought to the organization, noting that she has blessed the Auxiliary in more ways than one.
