Maiers Named Dyersville Area Woman of the Year

The Dyersville Chamber has announced their 2025 Dyersville Area Woman of the Year.

Barb Maiers was named the winner at the Chamber’s Annual Women’s Night event on Wednesday night. 

Maiers has dedicated over 37 years to shaping the lives of local children through early childhood education at The Kid Project. Her nomination letter notes that her passion, leadership, and tireless work ethic have created a safe and nurturing space for generations of families.

This year’s other nominees included Elizabeth Schlarmann, Janie Ament, Joyce Jarding, Jayme Lammers, Mary Nell Batterton and Stacy Conforti.
