Ambassadors of Delaware County Visit Manchester Businesses

The Ambassadors of Delaware County made a few visits last week to several businesses, including Woofy’s in Manchester.

Woofy’s Retreat owner Christy Braden says they opened their doors in November of 2023, providing dog grooming, doggy daycare and dog boarding.

Delaware County Economic Development and Delaware County Tourism also hosted the Ambassadors at their new location at 223 West Main Street. DCED used to share an office with the Manchester Chamber downtown, but Director Donna Boss says they needed more space.

Delaware County Economic Development and Delaware County Tourism have been in their new office for nearly a year now.

The Ambassadors also made a few visits earlier this spring, including to New To You, which moved in February from the four main corners in downtown Manchester to the north end of town to The Gathering Place event center building. Owner Abby Holtz says they made the move because they were running out of space.

The Ambassadors helped Boubin Tire and Automotive in Manchester celebrate their new shop addition. Owner Kirk Burkle says the new building provides much more space.

The Ambassadors also joined The Bread Basket for lunch. The Bread Basket moved to a new location at the four main corners last year in the old Roses in the Snow building. Owner Jackie Mormann says one thing people may not realize is that they have a conference room available in the restaurant’s downstairs area.

Next month, the Ambassadors of Delaware County will head to Hopkinton.
