Veterans from the Delaware County area will be treated to a free meal tonight as a ‘thank you’ for their service.
The Delaware County Veterans Affairs office is hosting their annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner. VA Administrator Peggy Petlon says this event has been a tradition for several years.
Along with a lasagna dinner, veterans will receive some helpful information and a chance to win door prizes.
The Veterans Appreciation Dinner drive-thru pick-up will take place at the Delaware County Veterans Affairs office at 601 Grant Street in Manchester. Petlon asks that everyone follow the enter and exit signs.
Tonight’s dinner will be served from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. All veterans are welcome.
