Structure Fire Northeast of Peosta Sunday Night

Firefighters responded to a structure fire northeast of Peosta on Sunday night.

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says their deputies, along with Iowa State Patrol and fire departments from Centralia-Peosta, Asbury and Farley, responded to 12455 Clear View Heights around 7 pm.

Fire crews were able to quickly contain the fire to a 40-by-30 foot shed and prevent the fire from spreading to other nearby structures.

Authorities say the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
