A motorcyclist was airlifted following a collision in Dyersville on Wednesday night.
The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says emergency crews responded to 1402 9th Street Southeast around 9:45 pm for a motorcycle/car accident.
The initial investigation determined the car was traveling northbound on 9th Street and was attempting to make a left turn when it collided with the motorcycle that was traveling southbound.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital and later airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
Authorities have not released the names of the drivers involved.
