Monticello FFA Awarded Grant to Provide Plants Downtown

Downtown Monticello will be looking a little more colorful this summer.

The Monticello FFA has been awarded a grant from Monticello Give to Grow to provide flowers and plants in several areas of town. FFA member and freshman Emily Leytem explains.

Senior Natalie Henderson is a fellow Monticello FFA member. She says she’s learned a lot from the FFA’s greenhouse class.

Both Leytem and Henderson say it’s rewarding to help beautify their community.
