Nothing Goes to Waste at RMC Auxiliary Blanket Workshops

Volunteers will be gathering to make blankets for Regional Medical Center’s pediatric patients today.
The RMC Auxiliary has been funding and hosting blanket workshops for over twelve years, with volunteers of all ages and all skill levels welcome to create fleece tie blankets. The workshops are open to the public, with all the supplies provided.
Donna Pilgrim, who serves as the lead volunteer for the Blanket Workshops, recently took the scraps from the blanket workshops and made them into a custom quilt. This quilt, along with a number of others, will be going to pediatric patients at the hospital.
Today’s Blanket Workshop will be held from 1 to 3 pm in the RMC Veterans Education Center in Manchester. Registration is required – if you’d like to help, get signed up online at regmedctr.org/blanket or call Valerie at 927-7534.
