F&M Bank Focused on Giving Back to Community

F&M Bank is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. And while banking is what they’ve done for a century now, it’s not all they do. F&M takes great pride in going above and beyond their everyday work duties by giving back to the community.
Executive Vice President Keith Kramer says that’s what makes F&M Bank unique.

Vice President Deb Worm says F&M Cares is one of those programs that gets employees involved in giving back on Fridays.

And their desire to give back just seems to keep growing each year with new programs, such as Leaders Who Lunch, which F&M recently brought to Manchester.

Kramer says they try to think outside the box – and that’s what led to one of their other most recent projects, the Honor Float.

And sometimes their ideas come on the fly. When they wanted to collect donations for the Matt Drees family following his accident last year, F&M employees hit the streets selling donuts on a stick – with Kramer dressed up as a donut himself.

It’s a fundraiser they’re hoping to do again this year. And as they look to the future, both Kramer and Worm believe giving back to the community will continue as F&M Bank works towards their next 100 years.
Since 2000, F&M Bank has donated over two-point-six million dollars to community organizations and charities.
